Participant Divisions
Divisional placement is based on participants age as of January 1 in the year of events occurrence. Each division for league standings will have Male/Female divisions, however event organizers may choose to have age divisions solely, divisions based on ability or not any divisional organization at all. Ranking list will be generated on the premise below.

Scoring
A participants score is awarded based on entry into the slalom course, buoys rounded, (or portion of) and exit between exit gates, a skier may not continue their turn if any of the parameters are not met. A participant can start and ski at any speed or line length they choose regardless of age or sex. Score will be reflected based on the scoring chart below.
“Entry” into slalom course is defined as passing any distance after the right hand gate buoy towards buoy one. The participant may ride or pass over the right hand gate buoy as long as the officials are in agreeance the majority of the ski was to the inner side/course side of the buoy.
“Exit” of slalom course is defined as passing between the two exit gate
Participants can score a full or one-half buoy score. A full buoy score is when a skier passes around the buoy and returns to the middle of the course with handle in hand while in an ski supported position. A one half buoy score is when the skier passes a perpendicular line that is drawn from course center line through the center of boat guide and turn buoy while in a ski supported position with handle in hand.
WWSL RANKING LISTS AND SUGGESTED MINIMUMS
OPEN WATER LEAGUE
Officials required: Driver and Boat judge
Tech required: Any slalom course will suffice, Any generation of Perfect Pass or Zero Off speed control system will suffice
Scoring protocol: Boat judge will determine whether the participant properly entered the course, how many bouys or partial bouys the participant rounded, and proper exit of course. Boat judge will be also ensure times were in tolerance and upon paticipants completions boat judge will award appropriate score.
Medio league
Officials required: Driver and two(2) boat judges
Tech Required: Any slalom course will suffice, Zero Off or Zbox Perfect pass, GPS based boat path system
Scoring protocol: Boat judges will determine whether the participant properly entered the course, how many bouys or partial bouys the participant rounded, and
proper exit of course. Boat judges will be also ensure times and boat path were in tolerance and upon paticipants completions boat judges will award appropriate score. If there is any dicrepency between judges of the skiers score, the skier will awarded the lower of the two scores.
ELITE LEAGUE
Officials required: Driver, Boat judge, and Shore Judge
Tech required: Slalom course, handles and ropes that meets standards set out as specified below, Zero Off or Zbox Perfect pass, GPS based boat path system, Gate camera system that can relay gates clearly in minimum 1⁄4 size of screen, Live skier video(from boat) realyed to a full size screen to shore.
Scoring protocol: Gate and boat video will be transmitted to shore area where the competitors congregate, along with shore judge, who will also be located in that area, all able to view monitors. Competitors on the shore will be the ‘judges’, “judging by your peers”. Shore competitors will watch monitors and determine whether the participant properly entered the course, how many bouys or partial bouys the participant rounded, and proper exit of course. Scores will be decided by majority, if there is a tie the boat judge will be the tie breaker. Boat judge will be responsible to ensure boat path and times are/were in tolerance.

WWSL SCORE SUBMITTAL FEE STRUCTURE
Any site/individual/s can have event scores posted on the WWSL rankings list with costing based on number of scores submitted per event day
$25 - Less than 20 scores
$40 – 21 to 50 scores
$75 – 51 to 100 scores
$100 – 101 to 150 scores
$150 – 151 to 200 scores
$200 – 201 to 300 scores
$30/year for
Individuals to have all their scores throughout the year posted if they participate in events that chose not to submit scores. Scores will be placed in appropriate list as per stipulated in regulations.
